If, like me, you were a fan of 'Car Talk', a show I listened to faithfully on NPR every Saturday morning, you were no doubt saddened as I was to hear of the recent death of Tom Magliozzi at age 77 due to complications of Alzheimer's disease. His infectious laugh will be remembered. If you never listened to 'Car Talk', you missed a very funny radio program. Ostensibly about advice on automobiles, the brothers' self-deprecating good humor belied their true intellectual prowess - both were graduates of M.I.T.
Catch the program some Saturday morning, I'm sure you will appreciate it. Ray, the surviving 'Tappet' brother, plans to keep the show on the air with gems from their archives, in tribute.
